On August 16, mark your calendars for Lockheed Martin Aviation Day, which includes an impressive lineup of physics and aviation-themed activities. Highlights include:
- F-22 Glider Construction: Build a glider while learning about aerodynamics. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
- Rubber Band Helicopter: Create your own helicopter and discover the forces that impact flight, suitable for ages 6 and up.
- Day in the Life of an Engineer Presentations: Meet experts and learn how to pave a path in aviation engineering.
- Lockheed Additive Manufacturing Demo: Witness a 3D printing demo and see how it shapes the future of aviation.
Participate in Groundbreaking Research
On August 17, guests will have the unique chance to help with UCF's Sensorimotor Study. This provides an opportunity for attendees over the age of three to contribute to important research on body movement, all within a 15-minute session that respects your choice to withdraw at any time.
