Immerse Your Family in a New Ocean Adventure
LEGOLAND Florida Resort is making waves with the recent debut of SEA LIFE Florida, a groundbreaking marine aquarium that promises a journey from construction site to magical underwater world. Scheduled to officially open on June 6, 2025, the first inhabitants, including sleek blacktip reef sharks, playful clownfish, and majestic unicorn tangs, have already made their home at this captivating future attraction.
Your Gateway to Ocean Conservation
Spearheaded by Curator Sarah McMahon, SEA LIFE Florida is not only about reveling in the beauty of ocean life but also about fostering a deeper connection between guests and marine conservation. McMahon emphasizes that “every fish, ray, and shark that arrives is a chance to spark curiosity and inspire care for our planet.” This initiative highlights the importance of protecting ocean habitats while providing families with the opportunity to explore engaging exhibits that encourage conservation efforts.
Fun for Everyone: Accessibility at the Core
Accessibility is a key focus of SEA LIFE Florida, which intends to earn a designation as a Certified Autism Center. With over 25 interactive exhibits tailored for an inclusive experience, the aquarium features a hands-on rock pool and a specially designed stingray bay. This commitment to welcome everyone ensures that families, grandparents, and tourists can share memorable moments together amidst the wonders of the sea.
A Sneak Peek into the Sea
Families will find the “Theme Park Under the Sea” experience particularly thrilling. Guests can walk through a stunning 30-foot long underwater tunnel while witnessing sea creatures interacting with unique coral carousels and deep-sea roller coasters. This innovative blend of amusement and education adds excitement to the aquarium, merging fun with the exploration of marine life.
